Some of Our Favorite Projects:
TESTIMONIALS:
"Working with Hailey has been enjoyable and a learning experience. Through her process of thoughtful questions and feedback, we were able to come up with a plan that met my desire to create a space that’s both environmentally sustainable and pollinator friendly. Hailey answered all my questions and concerns and provided useful resources to help me understand her vision and help me achieve mine.
My project resulted in the total removal of turf from my front yard and parking strip and the creation of a space that incorporates an inviting seating area, fruit trees, bio-swales, grasses, and pollinator friendly plants that are not only beautiful, but soil enhancing as well – who would have thought that carbon rich buckwheat could look so beautiful in a wildflower garden?! In addition, I have been able to maintain a green, flower filled environment throughout a summer of record triple-digit temperature days while only watering 30-40 minutes a week.
I get much pleasure from sitting in my space, reading, and visiting with friends and neighbors. I am excited for the day when I can bring her full vision to fruition by completing my shade enhancing grape arbor."

"Hailey worked with us in 2020 to establish a site and plan for our vegetable garden and berry bushes. Regenerative practices were really important to us and Hailey really helped us conceptualize how we can create ecosystems for insects, animals, and soil microbes. We love the way Hailey focuses on working with nature instead of against it. She listened closely to our desires for the space, as well as our limitations and adjusted accordingly. We feel like we truly got a tailor-made plan, not a "one size fits all" directive. Thanks to Hailey we now have a bustling, beautiful, and fruitful garden that feeds us well. We are already discussing our next project to transition our sod lawn to an oasis of perennial plants and native species. We can't imagine doing this alone and Hailey's guidance has been invaluable."

"During my first real conversation with Hailey, she talked about soil health, a term that even in my seven years of gardening I’d never heard of. As I showed her my raised garden beds (still a full year before she became my mentor), she passively mentioned soil health, permaculture, interplanting, and how the agricultural industry has changed from polyculture to monoculture. I’m sad to admit that I cared far less about soil health than I did about my plant’s health, something I thought could only be obtained through serious tilling and miracle gro.
A year later, when I became a client of Hailey’s, I was finally open to the idea that gardening was not something I had to work against nature for. Hailey’s passion for regenerative practices is contagious; I didn’t realize I could care so intimately about the purpose of weeds (“It’s only a weed if it’s unwanted”), the value in cover cropping, or the fascinating nature of a worm farm. With Hailey’s help, I’ve developed short- and long-term goals that reflect a willingness to act as a good steward to the earth, as well as building a more sustainable food future for my family."

"Hailey is downright awesome to work with. She listened to our goals and and priorities and provided a tailor fit plan for the garden. She also took the time to explain the technical reasoning behind her recommendations which established her as a true expert in our view. She also has a great attitude and made gardening fun. We felt like our garden game was leveled up and can't wait to grow more things in the future!"
